🔼 Ranked Dub. The No. 8 women’s soccer team beat No. 25 Houston 2-1 on Thursday. Baylor was selected as the No. 3 seed for the Big 12 Tournament. The women will face No. 6 seed Houston in Monday’s quarterfinal. Lauren Omholt and Noelle Sather each scored. Baylor had 16 shots and seven shots on goal.

🔼 Got the Dub. The women’s basketball team beat Central Arkansas 72-44 on Thursday. Taliah Scott led the way with 14 points. Trinity Turner had 13 points and 11 assists. The Bears shot 37.14% from the field and 41.38% from behind the arc.

🔼 POTM. Volleyball player Ksenia Rakhmanchik was named the Big 12’s In-Season Challenge Offensive Player of the Month. The sensational sophomore led the Bears with 159 kills and 174 points over the in-season challenge, spanning the eight matches last month. Rakhmanchik averaged 4.97 kills and 5.44 points per set over 32 sets, leading Baylor in both categories.

🔼 Best Ride. Equestrian athletes Morgan McCarthy and Carley Rutledge were named the Big 12 Riders of the Month. McCarthy picked up honors in Flat after holding an undefeated record of 4-0 for the month as well as earning two Most Outstanding Performer honors. Rutledge collected honors in Horsemanship after going 3-1 for the month of October and, like McCarthy, earned two Most Outstanding Performer honors.
