🎥 BAYLOR+: RELIVE NO. 9

9 Straight National Titles… We think that’s what you call a Dynasty.

What goes into that run? What goes in to championship week?

Now available on Baylor+ gives you behind-the-scenes look at the 2024 NCATA National Championship run by the Bears in this three-part series.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Moving On. It had been since 2017 that the Baylor softball team made Super Regionals.

Well, I guess we’re just replaying 2017 all over again, because the Baylor men’s golf squad followed suit with the trend, punching their ticket to an extra day at the NCAA Championships to advance to the fourth and final day of stroke play for the first time in seven seasons.

Needing to get inside the top-8 to extend their season beyond Monday, BU sits four shots behind eighth-place Florida entering the final round.

Johnny Keefer continues to lead Baylor with his 1-under 215, tying him for seventh individually. The senior is just four shots behind the 54-hole leader, Adam Wallin of Ohio State. Keefer is in position to be Baylor's highest-finishing individual in NCAA Championship history.

🔺 The Oregon Trail. The Bears are headed west! We just hope the covered wagon is big enough!

It was a BIG week at NCAA West Prelims in Fayetteville with the Baylor track & field squad booking 10 tickets to the NCAA Championships next month in Eugene, Oregon.

Highlighting the weekend effort was the 4×100m squad of Tiriah Kelley, Kayla Hunt, Alexis Brown and Michaela Francois, who ran the first sub-43 second mark in program history to punch their ticket to the next round.

🔺 What A Year. All spring long, the Baylor softball team fought with everything they had.

This weekend against the #4 team in the country was no different.

The Bears fought until the final out, but ultimately fell in game three to Florida, 5-3, to conclude their 2024 season, in which they reached the Super Regionals for the first time since 2017.
