🔺 Fine Nine-ing. There’s a little extra luggage heading back to Waco this weekend.

The Baylor Acrobatics & Tumbling squad collected their 9️⃣th straight NCATA National Championship this past weekend, sweeping through its three meets en route to yet another trophy.

In the finals, the Bears defeated #3 Gannon, 272.220 to 269.315, to claim the title and its 37th straight victory dating back to 2021.

🔺 Welcome To Bear Country, Mr. Roach. A year after adding one of the best transfers in the country with RayJ Dennis, the Bears yet again have added an experienced guard to the mix.

This weekend, head coach Scott Drew and the Baylor men’s squad excitedly announced the addition of former Duke guard Jeremy Roach for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The two-time team captain for the Blue Devils appeared in 130 games with 108 starts across four seasons in Durham.

A native of Leesburg, Virginia, Roach has 1,469 career points to go along with 402 career assists. Additionally, he has a 1.74 career assist-turnover ratio, averaging 10.9 points and 3.0 assists while shooting .435 from the field.

Over his four years on Tobacco Road, Roach helped Duke to a Final Four (2022), an ACC regular-season title (2022), and an ACC Tournament title (2023).

🔺 Three Of A Kind. With the conference slate winding down, the Baylor softball squad is heating up at just the right time.

The Bears collected a second straight Big 12 sweep this weekend, taking all three games in Provo, capped off by a run rule 14-4 victory in the finale on Friday night.

As a team, BU pounded out 34 hits in the three-game set, six of which were via the long ball.

Entering next weekend’s home series against Houston, the Bears are just a ½ game out of fourth place in the Big 12.

🎉 CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES

Long ago, Kool & The Gang taught us to Celebrate Good Times and on Nov. 2nd, Baylor will do exactly that.

A pair of 11-2 and Big 12 Conference Championship teams will be celebrated during the upcoming 2024 Baylor Football season, as the Bears plan to recognize student-athletes from the 2013 and 2014 teams.

On Nov. 2 when Baylor plays TCU at McLane Stadium, the program will commemorate the 2013 and 2014 Big 12 Conference Championship teams.
