🎙 SIC ‘EM POD: SYDNEY COLLAZOS

On today’s episode we get to know Baylor Softball’s Sydney Collazos, a fifth senior from Georgetown, Texas.

From the time she stepped on campus in 2021, Sydney has been an important part of Coach Moore’s lineups, both on the diamond, and in the dugout as an extrovert and a leader.

Now, in her final year in the green and gold, Sydney has embraced every moment with her team, and is looking forward to pursuing a career in the medical field when her time at Baylor is done.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Gainesville Or Bust. All season long, the Baylor softball team has showed its depth.

All season long, it was about the team.

This past weekend, that was on full display as the Bears punched their ticket to Super Regionals and a date with #4 Florida.

🔺 Three Of A Kind. The season may be over, but the hardware is piling up for the Baylor baseball squad.

On Monday, three different Bears earned All-Big 12 recognition from the league’s head coaches.

Baylor baseball junior designated hitter Wesley Jordan, sophomore left-handed pitcher Ethan Calder and fifth-year senior infielder Cole Posey all garnered accolades.

Jordan was named to the Second Team, while Calder and Posey each picked up honorable mention distinction.

Baylor baseball continues its streak of having at least one All-Big 12 representative in each year since the league's inception and has had at least one all-conference member in every season dating back to 1995.

🔺 What A Week. Best part about the week that BaiMai Seema had in California?

She’ll be back next year for more.

The junior finished up her stay at the NCAA Championships by placing in the top-30, tying for 28th overall with a 6-over for the four rounds.

She was the first Bear to participate in the final round of the NCAA Championships as an individual since Gurleen Kaur in 2022.
