Get ready for the upcoming Baylor basketball season by binging the entire series of Our Time for free now.

Our Time, a 12-episode docuseries which originally aired on ESPN+, covered the 2021-22 season and gave an all-access look at Baylor hoops like never before.

🔺 Bear Takeover. Lights, Camera, Action. Hoops seasons is almost here.

To help get us ready for the upcoming 2023-24 BU women’s hoops season, the Bears took over KC at the Big 12 Tip-Off Event yesterday with Coach Collen and crew jumping on the mic and having some fun for the cameras.

On a day where the Green and Gold are just 19 days away from the start of the season, the Bears earned a #19 national ranking and will be ranked to start the year for the 19th straight season.

That’s a lot of 19s.

🔺 Eyes On Andrews. Entering her final season in Waco, Sarah Andrews is focused on making her last year, her best.

Even before stepping onto the court this year, Andrews has drawn the eyes of the country as this week, the veteran guard was named to the 2024 Nancy Lieberman Award Preseason Watch List.
 
Now in its 24th year, the award recognizes the top point guard in women's NCAA Division I college basketball. A national committee of top college basketball personnel determined the watch list of 20 candidates.
 
A unanimous preseason all-conference pick, Andrews brings the most playing experience in a Baylor uniform back to a loaded 2023-24 roster for the Bears. The two-time all-Big 12 selection earned a WBCA All-America Honorable Mention after a successful junior season. In games against AP Top 25 teams last year, Andrews averaged 16.9 points per game in nearly 39 minutes of action.

🔺 The Bear Necessities. Ahead of another highly-anticipated Baylor men’s hoops seasons, we want you all to get to know some of our new faces that will be donning the Green & Gold, including veteran leader and a guard with a championship pedigree already, RayJ Dennis.

Later today, Coach Drew and some of the guys will hit the stage for Big 12 Media Day and we’ll have a full recap right here in tomorrow’s Brew.

🏈 C-YA IN CINCY

After regrouping during the bye week, Baylor’s football team is ready to take flight to the “birthplace of aviation.”

The Bears hit the road Saturday for a brunch time kickoff with Big 12 newcomer, Cincinnati, at Nippert Stadium.

Baylor will be looking for its second conference win when they battle the Bearcats on Saturday.
