🔺 Punch It In The Calendar. You’ve had the dates, now you’ve got the times. Punch those in the calendar now!

This week, the Big 12 Conference and Baylor announced the TV designations and times for the first three weeks of the upcoming fall season for the Bears.

Baylor will open its 2024 season with a home matchup vs. Tarleton on Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

The Bears will hit the road for a non-conference game at Big 12 newcomer Utah – a return trip after the Utes came to Waco in 2023 – in a contest that will be broadcast live on FOX at 2:30 p.m. CT.

The Bears will then return to McLane Stadium to host Air Force at 6:30 p.m. on FS1 on Sept. 14.

🔺 Building Champions. Each month, the Student-Athlete Center for Excellence selects four champions of the month.

This award recognizes student-athletes who achieve their personal bests in the areas of academic achievement, athletic success, character formation and spiritual growth.

Each of these student-athletes was nominated by a SACE team member based upon their embodiment of each of the four pillars.

Riley Chimwala (Acrobatics & Tumbling), Yves Missi (men’s basketball), Kyla Abraham (women’s basketball) and Jadon Porter (football) have been selected as the May Champions of the Month.

🎙 SIC ‘EM POD: COLE POSEY

On this week’s episode we get to know Baylor Baseball’s Cole Posey,
a fifth year senior from Georgetown, Texas.

Growing up in a Baylor family, Cole was a huge fan of the Bears,
and always dreamed of suiting up for them one day. And after
a few stops around the country, that dream came true 2 years ago.

In his final year, the do-it-all first baseman played some of the best ball of his career, while also pursuing some big dreams away from the diamond.
