š„ BAYLOR+: IN THE FILM ROOM
The Baylor Women's Basketball team added lots of new and exciting faces over the offseason, including Iowa State transfer Denae Fritz.
Get to know her game and what she has to offer as Assistant Coach Sadie Edwards breaks down her film from last season.
š CALL TO THE HALL
World Series champion Max Muncy and longtime men's basketball analyst Pat Nunley highlight the Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame 2023 class that includes eight former student-athletes from six different sports.
Joining Muncy (baseball) and Nunley (men's basketball) in the latest class to be inducted will be J.D. Walton and Ken Quesenberry (football), Tiffany Townsend and Sandy Forsythe Massey (women's track and field), Denes Lukacs (men's tennis) and Stan Curry (men's track and field).

šŗ Community Connections. What a better way to end the week than some donuts, DJ and high-fiving elementary school kids?
Thatās exactly what a slew of Bears had the opportunity to take part in last Friday as student-athletes spent time at schools all across Waco for a fun morning of serving and connecting with the local community!
šŗ Itās The Final Countdown. We are less than a week away people!
The womenās squad gets us started next Monday right here in Waco against Southern at 7 pm, while the menās team hits the court on Tuesday in South Dakota, when they take on Auburn.

šŗ Bearing Down. As the BU womenās tennis team winds down its fall slate, the victories arenāt winding down at all.
Four individuals spent the weekend in Fort Worth at the TCU Invitational with Isabella Harvison, Daniella Dimitrov, Zuzanna Frankowska and Lauren Littell all competing.
The quartet combined for seven victories on the weekend.
šŗ Next Man Up. When opportunity knocks, you kick the door open.
Former Bear Xavier Newman did exactly that this weekend when he was elevated to the NY Jets roster for their game against NY Giants.
Next thing he knew, he was in the game and playing a position that he hadnāt played full-time in years: center.
Along one of Wacoās most respected drives, 15 minutes from Baylor, 10 minutes from Ridgewood Country Club and Lake Waco, sits this prominent community focal point.
With over 4800 sf feet in total with a fully equipped guest apartment included, on over an acre and a half - this Waco home is incomparable. Set back on the exceptionally large lot and peeking through hundred-year-old live oak trees, visitors are greeted by a distinguished wrought iron tracery and columns framing a southern French style front porch.
The entire estate has been meticulously restored, including electrical, plumbing, full finish out and more. In any major Texas city, this home would be unattainable and twice the expense. Here in Waco, it is one of the most prestigious and beautiful homes there is.

The former Baylor standout went on to a 21-year MLB career and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955. He, along with legendary coach Floyd Crow, were members of Baylor Athleticsā inaugural Hall of Fame class in 1960.
