In this episode of The Sic ’Em Podcast, we welcome Baylor Women’s Basketball’s standout transfer Taliah Scott. Taliah reflects on her journey to Waco, what drew her to Baylor, and the impact she hopes to make both on and off the court. šŸ”¼ New Additions. Baylor football has added three new staff members. Mikael Bradford was named the quality control coach, working with cornerbacks. He spent last season as the defensive graduate assistant at Kansas State. Bo Els will serve as the quality control coach working with safeties. He spent last season as a graduate assistant at Missouri. David Orloff joins the staff as the assistant nickels coach after spending the last five seasons at Kansas State.

šŸ”¼ Big Win. Baylor men’s basketball went to Stillwater with something to prove and left with their first conference win of the season. The Bears beat Oklahoma State 94-79 to snap their perfect home record. Five Bears ended the night in double figures, led by Tounde Yessoufou with 23 points. Baylor will play at Kansas on Friday night.

šŸ”¼ One Of One. Baylor women’s basketball’s Taliah Scott is the only DI player averaging at least 20 points per game while having at least a 90.0 free-throw percentage. No Big 12 player has ever finished a season with these marks.

Scott and the 18th-ranked women’s basketball team will play at Utah tonight at 8 p.m. on ESPN+.

šŸ”¼ Elite Lineup. The Baylor Coach’s Show, presented by Central National Bank, airs live on Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. at Rudy’s in Waco. The show features coaches from various Baylor sports and will be broadcast on ESPN Central Texas, online, and on YouTube.

The spring lineup will include men’s and women’s basketball coaches Scott Drew and Nicki Collen, baseball coach Mitch Thompson, softball coach Glenn Moore, men’s and women’s golf coaches Mike McGraw and Jay Goble, men’s and women’s tennis coaches Michael Woodson and Joey Scrivano, equestrian coach Casie Maxwell, track & field coach Michael Ford, and acrobatics and tumbling coach Felecia Mulkey.

Tomorrow’s Baylor Coach’s Show will feature Michael Woodson and Mitch Thompson.
