Happy New Year Bear Country! While the world still debates if Ross and Rachel were on a break, there’s no debate for the Bears who rolled through their holiday season in dominant fashion.

🔼 Connect Four. While we were exchanging gifts and stuffing our faces with holiday treats, the Baylor men’s hoops squad unwrapped two Ws and a return to the top-25 during the break.
The Bears wrapped up non-conference play with a 107-53 victory over Arlington Baptist and got the Big 12 slate started in a big way, dominating Utah at Foster Pavilion on New Year’s Eve to the tune of 81-56.
Norchad Omier continued his torrid pace posting 34 points and 38 rebounds in the two victories. He now has seven double-doubles in BU’s first 12 games of the season. He also reached 2000 career collegiate points with his performance against Arlington Baptist.

The six-game winning streak. The high powered offense. The electric plays.
The 2024 season came to an end for the Baylor football program, dropping a tough 44-31 decision to LSU in the Kinder’s Texas Bowl on Tuesday, but the Bears have the building blocks for a very, very bright future.
Sawyer Robertson had a career day, completing 30 of 51 passes for 445 yards and two touchdowns. The career days continued for the offense with Josh Cameron, who tied a career high with eight catches for 111 yards and scored his 10th touchdown of the season.
With freshman All-American running back Bryson Washington injured in the first half, sophomore Dawson Pendergrass rushed for 63 yards on 21 carries and tied a career high with two touchdowns.
