🔼 Generating Buzz. Women’s basketball’s Taliah Scott was named to this week’s Big 12 Starting Five. She scored 19.5 points per game in Utah, the Beehive State, last week. She led the Baylor offense with 25 points at BYU as the Bears beat the Cougars in Provo for the first time since 1978. This is Scott’s fifth weekly conference award this season.

🔼 Saddle Up. It’s Rodeo on the Brazos night at Foster! The 14th-ranked women’s basketball team hosts UCF tonight at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. Fans are encouraged to wear Western attire and their favorite boots! Rodeo bandanas will be given away thanks to Extraco Banks.

🔼 Eyes Forward. Baylor men’s basketball fell to No. 12 Texas Tech 92-73 last night. The Red Raiders were dominant from beyond the arc, making 17 three-pointers. Baylor scored an equal number of points in the second half as Texas Tech, but the first half’s 19-point differential proved to be too much to overcome. Cameron Carr led the Bears with 18 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Baylor will host TCU on Saturday.
