Freshman VJ Edgecombe and transfer Jalen Celestine did just that combining for 48 points to lead the Baylor men’s hoops squad to a crucial 70-62 victory over visiting K-State on Wednesday night.
Edgecombe poured in a career-high 30 points, becoming the first Bear to score 30+ in a game since Jalen Bridges lit up the scoreboard for 32 against Texas last season.

🔼 Young Guns. First pitch is just a few weeks away and expectations are high for the Baylor softball program.
Heading into the 2025 season, the Bears sit in the top-25 in two different polls, ranked as high at #16.
While there is plenty of veteran talent returning for BU, two young guns were recognized this week with Gigi Lindsey and Karynton Dawson both on the Softball America Freshman Watch List.

🔼 Bickle’s Back. She’s backkkk.
After grinding her way to a spot on the Connecticut Sun roster during the 2024 season, former BU standout Caitlin Bickle is headed back to the Northeast.
This week, the Sun announced that they’ve signed Bickle to a training camp contract heading into the 2025 season.
Last year, the former Bear played in eight games for Connecticut.
