🔼 Perfect 10. There’s something special about Foster Pavilion.
For a stretch on Tuesday night, it became the VJ Edgecombe show in Waco as the star freshman scored 11 straight points en route to a team-high 18 points and a dominant 68-48 victory over Cincinnati in Big 12 action.
The win stretched Baylor's home winning streak to 10 games, the fourth-longest active streak in the Big 12 and tying the 10th longest home winning streak in school annals.
BU also got 18 points and 10 rebounds from fifth-year senior Norchad Omier, his eighth double-double of the year.
Josh Ojianwuna had 10 points and seven rebounds in 26 minutes, while Jeremy Roach added six points, Jayden Nunn chipped in nine and Robert Wright III had seven points and three boards.

🔼 Class Acts. It was a quite a year full of on-field success for the Baylor football program.
That success wasn’t just limited to on the field as this week, eight Bears were honored with Academic All-District accolades.
Michael Allen, Sidney Fugar, Kyler Jordan, Caleb Parker, Sawyer Robertson, Jack Stone, Keaton Thomas and Josh White each garnered recognition thanks to their work in the classroom and on the playing field. Robertson and Thomas are also eligible for Academic All-America honors, which will be announced later in January.

🔼 Country’s Finest. This week, there’s been plenty of accolades thrown around for our Bears, with several of our finest student-athletes being recognized among the nation’s best.
About a month away from the start of the season, Baylor softball standout Shaylon Govan was named a Preseason All-American by Softball America.
And on the opposite end, four BU football stars earned Postseason All-American accolades from Phil Steele. Josh Cameron, Palmer Williams, Keaton Thomas and Jamaal Bell were all recognized.
