🔼 He’s The Man. Quarterback Sawyer Robertson has been named to the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year watch list! The award goes to the player that demonstrates a record of leadership by exhibiting exceptional courage, integrity, and sportsmanship on and off the field. Robertson is committed to the Christian mission at Baylor, participating in FCA and leading team Bible studies. He also has more than 15 hours of documented community engagement as he is dedicated to serving others.

Robertson was also named Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Honorable Mention for week five.

🔼 Diggin’ It. Baylor volleyball’s Morgan Madison was named the Big 12 Rookie of the Week for the second time this season! She led the Baylor defense with 37 digs across two matches last week, averaging 4.11 per set. This season, she has recorded a team-high 66 digs in four matches against ranked opponents. She was also named to Michella Chester’s NCAA Volleyball Starting Rotation of the Week.

The Bears will host Houston tonight at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 So Close. Former baseball Bear Chris Durbin will be inducted into the 2025 Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame. He holds several career records, including doubles and extra-base hits. He had a memorable career highlighted by a Big 12 championship and a near-World Series appearance. After a brief professional career, Durbin spent 12 years with the Grand Prairie Police Department before transitioning to a career in roofing and home renovations. The Hall of Fame banquet is set for 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the Hurd Welcome Center Grand Ballroom on campus. Click here to register.
