🔼 Instant Impact. Baylor soccer’s Noelle Sather was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week after scoring in each of her first two matches back from the FIFA U-20 World Cup. She delivered the game-winner against Oklahoma State before opening the scoring against Cincinnati. Both goals came on Sather’s only shots on goal in those matches.

🔼 Midseason Form. Baylor goalkeeper Azul Alvarez was selected for the Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List! Alvarez has started all 11 matches and played every minute in goal for the Bears this season. She has 35 saves, a 1.00 goals-against average, and all nine Baylor wins to her name.

🔼 Gentle Giant. Gale Galloway’s impact on Baylor stretched far beyond his days on the football field. From playing on three nationally ranked teams to helping position Baylor for its move into the Big 12 as chairman of the Board of Regents, Galloway spent nearly eight decades supporting the university he loved. The Baylor Hall of Famer and longtime university leader passed away last week at 96, leaving behind a legacy that helped shape Baylor Athletics for generations.
