🔼 Made A Splash. Baylor men’s basketball defeated Grand Canyon 79-72 in their first exhibition game of the 2025-26 season. Tounde Yessoufou led Baylor with 21 points, including five 3-pointers, while Dan Skillings Jr. recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. The two teams played an extra 10-minute period after the regulation 40 minutes, where Baylor won 22-19.

🏀 Recap

🔼 Second Half Heroics. The 14th-ranked Baylor soccer team defeated BYU 4-2 in comeback fashion to notch their fifth-straight win! Tyler Isgrig recorded her third brace of the season and added an assist. Baylor’s other two goals came from Kai Hayes and Theresa McCullough. The Bears will play at TCU on Thursday.

🔼 Preseason Praise. Baylor women’s basketball’s Darianna Littlepage-Buggs and Bella Fontleroy were named to the Big 12 Conference’s 2025-26 Preseason Team. Littlepage-Buggs, a unanimous selection, is the only player returning with a double-double average from the previous season. Fontleroy earned her first preseason honor after earning Big 12 All-Freshman Team (2023) and All-Big 12 Defensive Team (2025) honors.
