📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Maxin’ Out. Just three wins and the Baylor baseball program will have an alum playing in the World Series for the third time in the past five seasons. 

Late Friday night, Baylor Athletics Hall of Famer Max Muncy and his Dodgers teammates locked up their first trip to the NLCS since 2021 by defeating the Padres in a best-of-five series.

Last night, they opened their seven-game series with the New York Mets with a 9-0 victory, which was started with a first inning, two-RBI single by Muncy.

🔼 Boston Pitre Party. In case the rest of the league didn’t believe them last year, these Houston Texans are for real.

Among the young core of Texans is former Bear, Jalen Pitre, who racked up six tackles, including 1.5 TFLs in Houston’s 41-21 road win in New England on Sunday afternoon.

With the win, the Texans are now 5-1 and have a two game lead in the AFC South heading into Week 7.

🔼 Up, Up and Away. What a slam from former Bear Jeremy Sochan!

Sochan with 15 points, eight rebounds and three steals in the Spurs’ preseason matchup with the Jazz. San Antonio has two more preseason games before opening the 2024-25 season on Thursday, Oct. 24th in Dallas.
