🔼 Statement Made. Baylor men’s basketball made quite the first impression Sunday afternoon. Behind 31 points from Kayden Mingo and a clutch overtime three-pointer set up by his younger brother Dylan, the Bears knocked off preseason national title contender Florida 82-76 in Jacksonville.

🔼 Clean Sheet. A record 1,509 fans watched No. 13 soccer beat TCU 1-0, extending Baylor’s home winning streak to seven matches. Aryanna Jimison scored her seventh goal of the season after following up her saved penalty kick, and Azul Alvarez protected the lead with a season-high seven saves. The victory moved Baylor to 12-2-1 and into a four-way tie atop the Big 12 standings with 16 points.

🔼 Turning The Page. Baylor’s four-game winning streak ended with a 17-6 loss to TCU, despite another strong defensive effort. The Bears held the Frogs to 33 rushing yards, recorded four sacks and kept a sixth consecutive opponent at 20 points or fewer. Gavin Freeman finished with seven catches for 76 yards as Baylor moved to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in Big 12 play.

🔼 Sweep Dreams. Volleyball went into Fort Worth and left with a 3-0 sweep over No. 10 TCU! Baylor hit .262 and improved to 12-5 overall and 4-3 in conference play. The Bears return to the Ferrell Center for Friday’s Dig Pink match against Houston at 7 p.m.
