š¼ Join The Tour. This week, the Bears are going on tour!
Thatās right, the annual Texas Tip-Off Tour is set to begin tomorrow night!
Join us in Tyler and Dallas on Oct. 3 and in Houston on Oct. 10 for a courtside conversation with Baylor Women's Basketball Head Coach Nicki Collen and Men's Basketball Head Coach Scott Drew.
With āThe Voice of the Bearsā John Morris, guiding the discussion, you'll get the inside scoop on the upcoming 2024-25 season. It's the perfect chance to connect with fellow Baylor Bears, family and friends while gearing up for another exciting year of Baylor Basketball.
š¼ Getting Defensive. Anytime you are one of only four to accomplish an achievement, youāre doing something right.
Baylor volleyball's Lauren BriseƱo fits that category and reaching that accomplishment earned her second Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week award.
BriseƱo earns her second career accolade after helping the now-No. 14 Bears start conference 2-0 by defeating both Arizona and then-No. 14 Arizona State in four sets.
She is one of four collegiate liberos that have recorded at least two double-doubles this season.
š¼ Back Again. Baylor Athletics Hall of Famer Max Muncy and his Dodgers teammates are back in a familiar place yet again.
Muncy and the Dodgers finished with baseballās best record in 2024 and now await their first round playoff opponent, which is set to begin this weekend in Los Angeles.
While he missed over half of the season with an injury, the former Bear finished with 15 HRs and 48 RBIs in 73 games played for LA.
A former BU standout has been a part of two of the past four World Series winners.
š¤ SIC āEM TRIVIA
As we mentioned, a former Bear has been a member of two of the past four World Series winners with Cody Bradford (Rangers, 2023) and Max Muncy (Dodgers, 2020).

Answer: Dave Danforth.
Danforth was a member of the 1911 Philadelphia Athletics, as well as the 1917 Chicago White Sox. āDauntless Daveā had a 10-year MLB career for three different organizations and made nearly 300 appearances. At Baylor, Danforth played two seasons, including the 1911 season, in which the Bears went 10-0 and won the Texas championship.
