🔼 High Noon Kick. Baylor football will play Kansas this Saturday at noon. The game will be televised on TNT, with simulcast on truTV and HBO Max.
🔼 Three Takeaways. Head football coach Dave Aranda met with media yesterday to recap the weekend and look ahead at the upcoming week. Here are Jerry Hill’s three takeaways:
‘That’s On Me’: Aranda is taking responsibility for the offensive line’s struggles in pass protection and run blocking, acknowledging the need to improve the group’s performance.
Joe Knows Kansas: Baylor defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman, is quite familiar with Kansas from his time at Kansas State. Kansas presents a challenging run game with Dylan Edwards and a difficult-to-prepare-for passing game.
Good Day For The D-Line: Baylor’s defensive line had a strong performance against TCU, recording four sacks and 10 tackles for loss. The depth and rotation of the line allowed players to get more rest, a significant improvement from previous games.
🔼 The Greatest. Former wide receiver Corey Coleman accomplished nearly everything a college receiver could dream of, but one opportunity still leaves him wondering what might have been. The former Baylor star revealed that he was preparing to play cornerback during his historic 2015 season before an injury ended those plans. A Biletnikoff Award winner, two-time Big 12 champion and Baylor's career receiving touchdowns leader, Coleman will now take his place among the program's legends as a member of the 2026 Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame.
