🔼 Five-Star State. The Bears have made themselves known across Texas. Gavin Freeman, Micah Gifford, and Daniel Cobbs earned first-team Midseason All-Texas recognition from Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, with Travion Barnes and Palmer Williams landing on the second team.

🔼 Trench Talk. Baylor’s next step starts with the guys up front. Dave Aranda is putting the focus on improving the offensive line, with run blocking and pass protection central to getting the offense moving again. The Bears were limited to 54 rushing yards against TCU, and Aranda emphasized that establishing the run creates the opportunities this offense needs through the air.

🔼 Set For Success. Volleyball’s Isabela Haggard and Ksenia Rakhmanchik make quite the combo. Haggard earned her third Big 12 Setter of the Week award, while Rakhmanchik landed on the conference’s Starting Seven. Haggard supplied 32 assists and 10 digs in the sweep of No. 10 TCU, while Rakhmanchik delivered 23 kills on a .463 hitting percentage.
