🔼 Three Takeaways. Head coach Dave Aranda and quarterback Sawyer Robertson met with the media earlier this week to discuss last week’s loss to TCU and this week’s matchup at No. 21 Cincinnati. Jerry Hill gives his three takeaways:

  1. Self-Inflicted Wounds: The Bears lost to TCU with a minus-3 turnover margin, including three interceptions by Sawyer Robertson and a fumble by Bryson Washington. Robertson acknowledged the turnovers were self-inflicted and crucial to the loss.

  2. Missing the Big-Hitters: The Bears’ offense lacks a consistent rushing attack, particularly explosive plays with runs in the double-digits.

  3. ‘Clearly the Best Team’: Coach Aranda considers Cincinnati the best and most competitive team Baylor has faced, praising their offense, defense, and recent additions.

🔼 Talking Bears. Baylor women’s basketball attended Big 12 Basketball Media Days yesterday! Check out some of the content:

🔼 Heart Of America. Today, the men’s basketball team takes on Big 12 Media Days! Coach Scott Drew will be joined by Dan Skillings, Tounde Yessoufou, and Obi Agbim at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Big 12 coaches and student-athletes will participate in Q&A sessions beginning at 8:40 a.m. All press conferences and interviews will be available on ESPN+.
