🔼 Leadership Change. Baylor has relieved Dave Aranda of his duties as head football coach, with defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman serving as interim head coach for the remainder of the season. The Bears are 4-3 overall and 2-2 in Big 12 play following Saturday’s 25-24 loss at Kansas. Baylor returns to action Friday at UCF, with kickoff at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.

🔼 Road Tested. Men’s basketball held off No. 3 Illinois 95-91 to finish its exhibition schedule with another win over a highly ranked opponent. Isaac Williams IV scored 28 points and Kayden Mingo added 24, helping the Bears protect a lead that Illinois trimmed to three late. Baylor opens the regular season against Northwestern State on Nov. 2 at 8:30 p.m.

🔼 Made A Statement. Women’s basketball beat West Texas A&M 96-56 in Sunday’s exhibition at Foster Pavilion. The Bears shot 56.3 percent, collected 26 assists and forced 30 turnovers, turning a 14-point halftime advantage into a 40-point win. The regular-season opener against FDU arrives Nov. 2 at 6 p.m.

🔼 Milestone Moment. No. 24 Baylor volleyball rallied from two sets down to beat Houston and deliver Ryan McGuyre’s 250th Baylor victory. Ksenia Rakhmanchik led that comeback with 23 kills, then recorded 25 kills and 10 digs in Sunday’s five-set loss to No. 17 Kansas. Baylor remains home to face TCU on Friday at 7 p.m.

🔼 Comeback Season. The No. 9 Baylor soccer team rallied for a 3-2 road win over Arizona behind goals from Callie Conrad, Sydney Miller, and Lauren Omholt. Omholt's 47th-minute winner secured Baylor's fourth consecutive win and kept the Bears tied with Texas Tech atop the conference standings. Up next is a massive Friday showdown in Lubbock between the Big 12's co-leaders.

🔼 Double Trouble. Baylor women’s tennis players Zuzanna Kubacha and Kenna Erickson will represent the Big 12 at the ITA Conference Masters Championships. Kubacha earned the league’s singles selection, while the pair earned its doubles selection. The Nov. 5-8 event offers another path into the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships.
