📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Good Look. Baylor women’s basketball defeated West Texas A&M 86-46 in their first exhibition of the season. Three Bears had double-doubles as Darianna Littlepage-Buggs led with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Kiersten Johnson and Jana Van Gytenbeek also recorded double-doubles, while Taliah Scott added 18 points. The Bears will face No. 7 Duke to open the season in Paris, France on Nov. 3.

🔼 Fell Short. The men’s basketball team fell to Indiana 76-74 in their final exhibition before the regular season. Cameron Carr, Dan Skillings Jr., Tonde Yessoufou, and Michael Rataj scored double-figures. Carr led the Bears with 18 points, adding nine rebounds. They’ll return home for the regular season on Nov. 3.

🔼 Slow Start. No. 21 Cincinnati defeated Baylor 41-20 as they opened the game with 24 unanswered points. Despite Baylor’s efforts to close the gap, including a touchdown drive in the fourth quarter, Cincinnati maintained their lead and secured the win. Freshman running back Michael Turner had a career-high 14 carries and 90 yards. Sawyer Robertson threw for 137 yards and two touchdowns, plus a rushing touchdown. The Bears will host UCF at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
🏈 Recap

🔼 Sunday In Space City. The 16th-ranked soccer team tied Houston 1-1 yesterday in the penultimate match of the regular season. They held each other scoreless through the first 45 minutes, then Callie Conrad scored Baylor’s goal early in the second half. Houston responded just five minutes later. Baylor will close the regular season on Thursday at Oklahoma State.
