🔼 New Energy. Interim head football coach Joe Klanderman wants to bring renewed energy and a team-first approach to Baylor football as he takes over as interim head coach. His focus includes helping the offense play freely, strengthening relationships across the roster, and having each phase support the others. The first test comes Friday at UCF, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.

🔼 Scott’s Shot. Baylor women’s basketball’s Taliah Scott is back on the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award preseason watch list, recognizing the nation’s top shooting guard. The senior averaged 19.7 points last season, finished second in the Big 12 in scoring, and led Baylor in scoring in 27 of 33 games. Fans can support her award push when voting opens Friday.

🔼 Hinkle History. Baylor men’s basketball is heading back to a building that holds some championship memories. The Bears will face Louisville at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Jan. 23 at 3 p.m., returning for the first time since winning two NCAA Tournament games there during their 2021 title run. Ticket presales begin Nov. 4 at 11 a.m., followed by the general sale Nov. 5 at 11 a.m.

🔼 Rain Check. Topgolf Live’s McLane Stadium debut is moving to March 4-7, 2027. The event had been scheduled for this week, and refunds are being processed for existing ticket holders. Tickets for the new dates will go on sale in early 2027.
