🔼 Runnin’ Wild. Nearly every member of Baylor’s rushing attack on Saturday was still in high school the last time the Bears rushed for 300+ yards in a game.

That changed on an unforgettable Homecoming Weekend as Baylor rolled past visiting Oklahoma State, one of the preseason favorites in the Big 12, en route to a 38-28 victory, their second straight game with 35+ points scored.

Including a career-high 142 yards by sophomore Dawson Pendergrass, the Bears rushed for 343 yards – their first 300-yard game since 307 versus Kansas in 2021.

Sawyer Robertson continued his strong play with 222 yards passing and three touchdowns, while also adding a 41-yard TD run in the fourth quarter to thrill a Homecoming crowd of nearly 45,000 at McLane Stadium.

🔼 That’s Elite McGhee To You. Senior Elise McGhee is making sure to leave every ounce of effort on the court in her final season with the Baylor volleyball program.

The All-Conference performer delivered an All-American type performance on Friday, unleashing a career-best 30 kills, along with six aces as the Bears battled their way to a 3-2 thriller over #18 TCU in front of an electric Ferrell Center crowd.

McGhee became the first NCAA Division I player in over three years to tally as many as 30 kills and six aces in the same match.

🔼 Tourney Time. Junior Skye Leach’s first collegiate goal came at a perfect time for the Baylor soccer squad, who earned a 1-1 draw at Iowa State on Friday night to punch their ticket to the Big 12 Tournament, which begins this week in Kansas City.

Leach’s goal secured the No. 10 seed in this week’s tournament, setting the Bears up for a date with seventh-seeded Arizona.

A win against the Wildcats on Wednesday, would send BU to the quarterfinals on Saturday against second-seeded Texas Tech.
