🔼 Twice As Nice. Baylor football’s DJ Lagway and Ryelan Morris earned Big 12 weekly honors, with Lagway sharing Offensive Player of the Week and Morris taking Freshman of the Week. Lagway accounted for five touchdowns against Arizona State, while Morris rushed for 84 yards and scored his first collegiate touchdown. Lagway was also named a Manning Star of the Week and a Davey O’Brien Great 8.
🔼 Spark Plug. Sometimes all it takes is one play to get things rolling. Freshman Ryelan Morris’ 63-yard touchdown provided the spark for a Baylor rushing attack that erupted for 244 yards in a dominant 55-19 win at Arizona State. Morris and Caden Knighten each finished with 84 yards and a long touchdown run as the Bears found the explosive ground game they had been searching for and extended their winning streak to four.
🔼 Running With The Best. Baylor cross country made the most of an unexpected trip to Fayetteville, with Ruth Kimeli and Khadija Ennasri both delivering top-15 finishes at the Chile Pepper Festival. Kimeli placed fourth with a personal-best 16:05.2, while Ennasri finished 14th in her Baylor debut. Their performances helped the Baylor women finish eighth in a competitive 30-team field.
