🏈 Freeman lands on watch list
🐻 And more!

Lagway Legacy is a special feature on DJ Lagway that goes far beyond the helmet and shoulder pads. This Baylor+ original offers a personal window into the journey that shaped one of the most talked-about quarterbacks in college football as he begins a new chapter with the Bears.

🔼 Watch This Guy. Baylor wide receiver Gavin Freeman has earned a spot on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List. He is tied for second nationally with 42 receptions and has 479 receiving yards through five games, catching at least six passes in every outing. The award recognizes college football’s outstanding FBS receiver.

🔼 Card Carrier. Former Baylor men’s golfer Cooper Dossey is headed to the PGA TOUR! The former two-time All-American secured his membership for the 2027 season after a Korn Ferry Tour campaign that featured seven top-10 finishes. After narrowly missing opportunities in previous years, Dossey gets his breakthrough with another Bear alongside him. His younger brother and former teammate Luke has served as his caddie this season.

🔼 Brace Yourself. Baylor soccer’s Aryanna Jimison was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week following a two-goal performance against Kansas. The seventh-ranked Bears will play at No. 24 Colorado tonight at 8 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Headed West. Baylor volleyball visits Texas Tech tonight at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. The Bears enter at 9-5 overall, with a chance to build momentum before returning to the Ferrell Center to host Arizona on Sunday.

🔼 Come Together. Baylor women’s basketball is bringing former players back to Waco for Alumni Weekend on Nov. 14-15. Saturday includes breakfast with the coaching staff, an X’s and O’s session with Nicki Collen, practice access, a Foster Pavilion tour and dinner at McLane Stadium. Alumni will then be recognized at halftime of Sunday’s game against East Texas A&M, followed by a postgame celebration with the team and Tip-Off Club.
