📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Just Joshin’. Baylor wide receiver Josh Cameron, a former walk-on, is a semifinalist for the 2025 Burlsworth Trophy. He is now a team captain and standout player, leading the Bears in receptions and ranks second in receiving yards and touchdowns this season.

🔼 Nation On Notice. Baylor women’s basketball’s Taliah Scott was named USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale Women’s National Player of the Week after scoring 53 points in her first week in Green & Gold. This marks Baylor’s first USBWA recognition since the 2023-24 season.

🔼 Fell Short. No. 21 Baylor volleyball fell to Kansas State 3-1 on the road. Ksenia Rakhmanchik had 23 kills, her fourth-straight match with at least 20 points. Harley Kreck recorded her third double-double of the season, finishing with 39 assists and 13 digs. The Bears will play at Houston on Saturday.

✍️ SIGNING DAY NEWS

Yesterday was the first day of the Fall signing period! Baylor softball signed three student-athletes with abilities to make a big impact on the program.

Baylor baseball signed 12 newcomers to the 2026 signing class. The group is a mix of eight pitchers and four position players. Eight of the new Bears are high schoolers, while the other four will join Baylor from the junior college ranks.

The Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team signed 15 newcomers for the 2027 season. There are 11 newcomers joining from a competitive cheer background, two share experience in youth acrobatics and tumbling, and two come from an acrobatic gymnastics background.

Baylor volleyball signed six, bringing in one of the best classes in the nation. Four players rank in the top-10 in their respective state, highlighted by Nadiya Johnson who is the No. 1 overall player in Virginia.

Baylor soccer signed four high school seniors to the program. Two newcomers are from Texas, one is from Florida, and one is Missouri. They combine for two high school championships and five first team all-state selections.

Women’s tennis inked three athletes to the 2026 class! The Bears will welcome Gabrielle Villegas to the roster for the upcoming spring season, while the remaining two will join before fall 2026.
