🔼  Survive & Advance. No. 23 Baylor soccer defeated Texas State 3-0 in the first round of the NCAA Soccer Tournament! Hallie Augustyn, Kai Hayes, and Olivia Hess scored goals for Baylor, while Azul Alvarez delivered a shutout. The Bears will play No. 4 seed Wisconsin on Thursday at No. 1 seed Notre Dame.

🔼 Ticket Punched. Baylor sophomore Ruth Kimeli will compete at the NCAA Cross Country Championship! She finished eighth overall at the NCAA South Central Regional, earning all-region honors for the second-straight year.

🔼 Home Court Advantage. Baylor men’s basketball defeated Tarleton State 94-81 on Friday night. Cameron Carr led the Bears with 26 points, scoring 17 in the first half. The Bears knocked down 11 threes in the win. They’ll prepare for the Players Era Tournament in Las Vegas next week.

🔼 Double It. The seventh-ranked women’s basketball team picked up two wins over the weekend! They beat UNLV 62-54 in Las Vegas on Friday behind another Taliah Scott 20-point game. They made a quick trip back to Waco to defeat Le Moyne 99-43 yesterday. Three Bears scored at least 20 points in the win, led by Darianna Littlepage-Biggs with 26 and 11 rebounds. Bella Fontleroy reached 1,000 career points, finishing the night with 21. Taliah Scott recorded another 20-point showing with 22 and a career-high nine assists.

🔼 Chip On His Shoulder. Despite Baylor football’s 55-28 loss to Utah, receiver and punt returner Josh Cameron had a standout performance with career highs of 13 catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Cameron, a former walk-on, is a leading candidate for the Burlsworth Trophy, awarded to the nation’s most outstanding player who began their career as a walk-on. With two games remaining in his senior season, Cameron remains motivated to lead his team and secure a bowl game appearance.

🔼  Houston, We Got A W. No. 21 Baylor volleyball defeated Houston on the road 3-1 on Saturday. The fourth set featured 27 ties and nine lead changes. Ksenia Rakhmanchik led the Bears with 18 kills, while Harley Kreck recorded her second-straight double-double. The Bears will host Texas Tech on Thursday.
