🔼 Stormin’ Back. Well Baylor fam, sometimes it’s worth staying up past our bedtimes.

On Thursday night, the Bears made sure it was worth it with an absolute thriller in the Bahamas, storming back from being down 18 points to win in double OT over #22 St. John’s 99-98 on a buzzer-beating three-pointer from Jeremy Roach.

Roach finished with 20 points and four assists, while fellow transfer Norchad Omier tallied a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.

Baylor was 15-of-29 from 3-point range, including 10-of-18 in the second half and two overtime periods.
 
Freshman Rob Wright and Cal transfer Jalen Celestine were both 4-of-5 from 3-point range and scored 17 and 14 points, respectively.

🔼 Drive For Five. The hunt for a fifth straight for victory makes the trip southeast to H-Town as the red-hot Baylor football squad heads to battle the Cougars of Houston in a critical Big 12 matchup on Saturday night.

The current four game win streak is the longest since 2021 for BU, a fifth straight victory would mark the longest since 2019. The Bears have rolled through its streak to earn bowl eligibility for the 12^th  time in the last 15 years, with a beatdown of Texas Tech in Lubbock, home wins over Oklahoma State and TCU, and a 14-point win at West Virginia last week.
