🔼 High Five! Sometimes, you just have to grind out Ws.
On Saturday in Houston, that’s exactly what the Baylor football team did, battling their way to a 20-10 victory, their fifth straight to earn a season sweep of the Big 12 Texas schools.
With the win, Baylor is now just a game out of first place, keeping their chance at a spot in the Big 12 Championship game alive for another weekend.
It was the defense who shined the brightest, grabbing three fourth quarter turnovers and finishing with four on the day, while holding the Cougars to just 239 yards of total offense.
Bryson Washington recorded yet another 100+ yard rushing performance, finishing with 113 yards on 28 carries, while Sawyer Robertson tossed for 204 yards and two TDs.

🔼 Senior Salute. For the eighth time in the past 10 years, the Baylor volleyball squad is in the 20+ win club.
On a day, the program celebrated its seven incredible seniors, the Bears fought to a gritty 3-2 win over Houston to improve to 20-7 on the year and hold strong in fourth in the Big 12 standings.
In her final home regular season match, Elise McGhee reeled off 22 kills, along with 10 digs. Jackie Barrett-Frazier notched another double-double with 44 assists and 14 digs.
