🔼  He’s No. 1. Baylor tight end Michael Trigg has been named a finalist for the John Mackey Award! The award goes to the nation’s top tight end. Trigg’s historic season has him ranked among the tops of NCAA tight ends in catches, touchdowns, and receiving yards. He owns the program record for career and season receiving yards.

🔼 That’s Our Guy. Baylor punter Palmer Williams has been named a finalist for the Ray Guy Award! This award honors the nation’s top collegiate punter. Williams is averaging 46.84 yards per punt, ranking second among finalists.

🔼  The Nominee Is... Baylor offensive coordinator Jake Spavital is a nominee for the 2025 Broyles Award. The award is given to the nation’s top assistant coach. Spavital has led Baylor’s offense to impressive rankings, including No. 3 in passing offense and No. 8 in first-down offense.

🔼 Diggin’ It. Baylor volleyball’s Morgan Madison earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week after a stellar performance against Texas Tech, recording a career-high 31 digs. This marks Baylor’s seventh Big 12 weekly award this season, all won by freshmen.

The 22nd-ranked Bears will play No. 20 TCU today at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 First Fall. Baylor men’s basketball experienced its first loss of the season, falling to No. 14 St. John’s 96-81 in the second round of the Players Era Championship. Cameron Carr led all scorers with 27 points, while Michael Rataj had 12 points and 12 rebounds. Baylor will continue tournament play today.

🔼 All Gold Everything. The 15th-ranked women’s basketball team is back in Waco! The Bears will host Louisiana Tech today at 2 p.m. on ESPN+. Baylor is breaking out new gold uniforms, check ‘em out!
