šŸ”¼ Oui Win! No. 16 Baylor women’s basketball defeated No. 7 Duke 58-52 in their season opener in Paris! Taliah Scott led the Bears with 24 points, while Darianna Littlepage-Buggs recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Baylor’s defense was strong, forcing 15 turnovers and scoring 14 points off them. The Bears will return home to host Lindenwood on Sunday.

šŸ”¼  Dashing Debut. Baylor men’s basketball started the season with a 96-81 win over UTRGV! Cameron Carr had a career night in his Baylor debut, scoring a career-high 28 points which tied Ja’Kobe Walter for more points in a Baylor debut game. He earned career highs in field goals, three-pointers, and free throws. Tounde Yessoufou scored 24 points and had seven rebounds. The Bears will host Washington on Sunday.

šŸ”¼ Miss Movin’ On. The 23rd-ranked soccer team defeated No. 15 Texas Tech in comeback fashion in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals! The Bears tied the match late in regulation, held steady through double overtime, then advanced 7-6 on penalty kicks. Baylor will take on No. 8 seed BYU tomorrow at 4:30 p.m.

šŸ”¼  Remembering A Legend. Legendary Baylor track & field coach Clyde Hart passed away at 91 after a battle with cancer. Hart, who coached at Baylor for 56 years, led the program to numerous national championships and mentored nine Olympians. He is remembered as a mentor, father figure, and a driving force behind Baylor’s track and field legacy.
