📈 STOCK UP

🔼 No Fear. Women’s basketball’s Taliah Scott scored 24 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter, to lead the No. 16 Baylor Bears to a 58-52 victory over the No. 7 Duke Blue Devils in their season opener in Paris. Scott credited her confidence to her hard work and the support of her teammates and coaches. Baylor’s defense held Duke to just 4-of-21 shooting in the final quarter.

🔼  White Out. Get your white t-shirts ready because Baylor’s next football game is a white out! The Bears will play Utah at 6 p.m. on Nov. 15 on ESPN2. Both teams will be coming off a bye week.

🔼 Semi On ‘Em. The 23rd-ranked soccer team will play No. 8-seed BYU in the Big 12 Tournament semifinal today at 4:30 p.m. The semifinal match will stream on ESPN+. The Cougars defeated top-seeded TCU in PKs to advance.

🔼  High Five. Baylor soccer had five All-Big 12 selections, the most under head coach Michelle Lenard! Tyler Isgrig was named a unanimous First Team selection, joined by teammate Azul Alvarez on the team. Isgrig was also named the Big 12’s Midfielder of the Year. Hallie Augustyn and Callie Conrad were named to the Second Team. Olivia Hess earned a spot on the All-Freshman Team.
