🔼 Up, Up And Away. The Baylor men’s hoops squad returned home and treated the scoreboard like it was a Christmas tree, lighting it up all night long.

Jayden Nunn led five Bears in double-figures to help BU return home with authority, defeating visiting Abilene Christian, 88-57.

Nunn finished with 18 points, including 4-of-4 from long range, while Norchad Omier added 15 points and six rebounds. Freshman sensation VJ Edgecombe returned from injury to pour in 14 points, grab six boards, record four steals and thrilled the home crowd with a highlight reel block and fastbreak dunk (see above for video evidence).

🔼 Flirting With History. Although the Houston Texans were on a bye this week, Jon Weeks continued to work, just as he always has.

The former Bear is on the cusp of a little bit of Baylor history.

With an appearance in Houston’s game next week against Miami, Weeks will tie Matt Bryant for the all-time NFL games played leader among Baylor alums at 241.

Weeks, Bryant and Ray Crockett (214) are the only three Bears to ever play in 200+ NFL games.
