Bowl season is just around the corner and let’s be honest, that’s a lot more
fun to talk about than any other topics at upcoming holiday parties.

Let’s break down all the Big 12 bowl games with the guys at Sic ‘Em 365.

🏈 TEXAS BOWL CENTRAL

On New Year’s Eve, there will be no better place to be than
Kinder’s Texas Bowl to cheer on the Bears.

As more information is released and becomes available, Bowl Central
will be the place to find all the links and information that you’ll need before heading to H-Town to see Baylor take on LSU in their final game of the exciting 2024 season.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 The Sunday Recap. In one of the most anticipated matchups of the NFL season so far, Terrel Bernard and the Buffalo Bills marched into Detroit and picked up a thrilling 48-42 victory to remain among the AFC’s best teams.

Bernard posted his second straight double-digit tackle performance, finishing with 10 on the day, 1.5 of those were behind the line of scrimmage.

Earlier this week, the Texans announced that former Bear Jalen Pitre will miss the rest of the 2024 season, but Houston did clinch the AFC South for the second straight season, so Pitre and Jon Weeks are once again division champions.

🔼 Building Champions. Each month, the Student-Athlete Center for Excellence selects four champions of the month.

This award recognizes student-athletes who achieve their personal bests in the areas of academic achievement, athletic success, character formation and spiritual growth. 
 
Each of these student-athletes was nominated by a SACE team member based upon their embodiment of each of the four pillars.

Enzo Apodaca (baseball) Avery Mortman (equestrian), Hallie Augustyn (women’s soccer) and Zach Heffernan (men’s golf) have been selected as the Student-Athlete Center for Excellence (SACE) December Champions of the Month.

🔼 The Human Highlight Reel. On Friday morning, we ran down all the offensive success that Keyonte George was having in his second NBA season.

Welp, Key, we got the message, we’ll highlight your defense to because on Friday night he went out and made this play against one of the league’s all-time greats.

With Big 12 conference play just a few weeks away, there’s no better time to
sit down with one of the leaders of the Baylor women’s hoops team, Jada Walker.

Walker and the Bears are looking to once again return to the
NCAA Tournament and make some noise on the national landscape.

With his appearance in yesterday’s Texans game against Miami, Jon Weeks made Baylor history, tying former Bear Matt Bryant with his 241st NFL game, the most-ever by a BU alum.
