🔼 STATEment Squad. Nothing like having a little bragging rights at the water cooler in the office, right?

Seven Bears helped the Baylor fam with that recently as they were named to Dave Campbell's All-Texas Football squads late last week.

Junior Omar Aigbedion (OL), redshirt sophomore Keaton Thomas (LB) and sophomore Palmer Williams (P) were named to the DCTF All-Texas First Team, while redshirt junior Sawyer Robertson (QB), redshirt freshman Bryson Washington (RB), redshirt junior Josh Cameron (WR) and redshirt senior Lorando Johnson (DB) earned spots on the Second Team.
 
The Bears' seven selections are the most of any of the Big 12 teams in the state and third overall behind Texas and SMU.

🔼 Accolades Aplenty. Nope, the All-Texas awards weren’t the only recognition dished out for the Baylor football squad.

Four Bears were also honored by the Associated Press, who named Matt Jones, Keaton Thomas and Palmer Williams to the All-Big 12 First Team, while OL Omar Aigbedion was slotted on the second team.

🔼 Aloha, Garmon. While the Bears are focused on Dec. 31st against the Tigers of LSU, veteran defensive presence Garmon Randolph now has an additional game on his schedule.

Last week, Randolph confirmed his participation at this year’s Hula Bowl in Orlando, Fla., scheduled for January 11th.

Each year, the game shows off some of college football’s best talent to pro scouts from all around the world.

Over the past four seasons, Randolph has racked up 113 tackles, 13.5 TFLs, nine sacks and two INTs for the Bears.
