🔼 Phase 10. This holiday season, plenty of board games are going to be exchanged in households around the world.

On Wednesday morning, Baylor women’s hoops got started early, playing a little Phase 10 with a dominant 97-34 victory over Utah Tech en route to their 10th win of the season.

Five players scored in double figures, led by guard Yaya Felder with 18 points, six assists, four rebounds and two blocks off the bench. With Coach Collen substituting freely the whole game, Baylor's bench outscored the Trailblazer reserves, 41-4. 
 
Juco transfer Waiata Jennings scored a season-high 11 points in 21 minutes, most of those coming off her four steals. The Bears forced a season-high 31 turnovers, blocked 11 shots and came up with 16 steals, finishing with a 40-6 edge in points off turnovers.

🔼 All-American Girl. Add another line to Elise McGhee’s resume.

She is officially an All-American after being named to the Honorable Mention squad by the AVCA this week.

The senior outside hitter finished her final season with 414 kills with a .232 hitting percentage and averaging 3.70 kills per set. She served up 44 aces at a .742 serving percentage and dug 189 balls. On the block, she had 54 overall, including five solo. McGhee helped her squad finish with a 23-8 record, including 14-4 in conference play, and an impressive 17-4 record at home in Waco.

🏐: More On McGhee’s Award-Winning Season

🔼 Class Act. This fall was filled with plenty of success on the court for the Baylor volleyball program with another 20+ win season and another trip to the NCAA Second Round.

That success was not limited to on the court as this week four Bears were named Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
 
Jackie Barrett Frazier, Elise McGhee, Allie Sczech and Tehani Ulufatu earned the Academic All-District nod, honored for their performances on the court and in the classroom.

Barrett Frazier, McGhee and Sczech were selected to advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
