🔼 Closing Statement. Welp, that is one heck of a way to close out a regular season at home.

Facing off against one of the hottest teams in the Big 12, the Baylor football squad made quite a statement, rolling past Kansas, 45-17, for a sixth straight victory and head into bowl season as one of the nation’s hottest offenses.

Sawyer Robertson threw for 310 yards and four touchdowns and Bryson Washington rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns to top the 1,000-yard mark and set the single-season freshman record.

Rolling up a season-high 603 yards total offense, the Bears had a pair of 100-yard rushers with Washington and sophomore Dawson Pendergrass (11-104) and two 100-yard receivers as well in Monaray Baldwin (7-119-2TD) and Josh Cameron (8-102-1TD).

🔼 Put On Those Dancin’ Shoes. The Baylor volleyball team is putting on its dancing shoes yet again this December.

For the ninth straight season, the Bears earned a NCAA Tournament berth and will be hosting its opening regional in Waco.

Seeded fourth in their region, the Green & Gold take on Wofford in the opening round, with fifth-seeded Dayton and South Carolina making up the other two teams in the regional.

First serve against Wofford is set for Thursday night at 7 pm.

🔼 Double Dippin’. It was a historic weekend for the Baylor women’s hoops team.

In the midst of bringing home two Ws over New Orleans (84-58) and La Tech (98-54), senior leader Sarah Andrews etched her name in the record books forever.

On her third 3-pointer of Sunday’s win over La Tech, Andrews took over sole possession of the program’s all-time record for career 3-pointers with 259. She finished with 11 points on the day and broke Odyssey Sims’ 10-year old record.
