Over the weekend, those celebrations were taken to a whole new level for some members of the Baylor football squad.

🏈 A CELEBRATION LIKE NO OTHER

We are a week away from the Kinder’s Texas Bowl in Houston, but for the Baylor football program, the celebration already begun.

This past weekend, the Bears had a celebration like no other as five members of the BU family went public with their faith and were baptized in front of their teammates.

🔼 Buy Stock Now. Yes, that is former BU star Yves Missi introducing himself to three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.

Three months into his first NBA season, Missi is getting more and more comfortable, pouring in 21 points and grabbing nine rebounds against the Nuggets on Sunday night.

In 10 games this December, the former Bear is averaging 12.6 points and 10.6 rebounds per outing for the Pelicans.

🏀: A Look at Yves’ Season So Far

🔼 Making An Impact. Earlier this month, two former BU standouts were recognized by their organizations as the Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee for their team with Andrew Billings (Bears) and Jalen Pitre (Texans).

This past week, Billings brought a little Christmas cheer to a Waco area student by delivering tickets to this year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans.

That’s right, Coach Drew and the Baylor men’s basketball program are are opening the doors of the Foster Pavilion on New Year's Eve, inviting Baylor fans and the Waco community to cheer on the Bears as they face Utah in their Big 12 Conference opener.

Fans can enjoy FREE ADMISSION to the game on Tuesday, December 31, at 1:00 p.m.

On New Year’s Eve, there will be no better place to be than
Kinder’s Texas Bowl to cheer on the Bears.

As more information is released and becomes available, Bowl Central
will be the place to find all the links and information that you’ll need before heading to H-Town to see Baylor take on LSU in their final game of the exciting 2024 season.
