đŸ”Œ Embrace Waco. Freshman cross country and track & field runner Jack Sterrett praises Baylor’s Christian values and supportive community. He was introduced to the university when he was watching the men’s basketball team’s 2021 NCAA Championship. Shortly after, Jack’s father, Dr. William Sterrett, was named Baylor’s Department Chair and Professor of Educational Leadership, moving the family from North Carolina to Waco. Despite initial challenges, including adjusting to the Texas heat and a demanding training schedule, Jack excelled in high school and earned a spot on Baylor’s team. Looking forward, his goals are to improve his personal best times and contribute to the team’s success in upcoming competitions. Read more of his Baylor story here.
