🔼 An Extra Gift This Year. There was plenty to celebrate this holiday season for Baylor football.

For redshirt freshman Bryson Washington, his holiday season was an extra special one as he earned Second Team Freshman All-American accolades this past week.

Washington had a breakout season to the tune of 1,004 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 170 carries. He became the first freshman running back in program history to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark, setting the school record for most rushing yards by a freshman, and added 22 receptions for 217 yards on the year. In his 10 games played in 2024, Washington surpassed the 100-yard mark six times, also a program rookie standard.

🔼 We Hoopin’ Too! The Bears aren’t just busy in Houston this week, they’re rockin’ Foster Pavilion too!

That’s right, both the Baylor basketball squads are in action at home starting today when the 25th-ranked men’s team opens up Big 12 play when they welcome Utah to town for a 1 pm showdown.

Tomorrow, the red-hot BU women’s team looks to extend their winning streak to eight when they host the 11-1 Oklahoma State Cowgirls at 3 pm.
