🔼 Welcome Home. Baylor has named Doug McNamee, a Baylor alumnus and former athletics administrator, the new Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. McNamee, who previously led Magnolia and Field & Stream, brings experience in media, brand management, and revenue generation. He will focus on increasing revenues, expanding NIL opportunities for student-athletes, and growing Baylor’s brand.

🔼  Rising Up. Baylor men’s basketball’s Tounde Yessoufou was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week after averaging 24.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals in two games. He led the Bears in scoring last week, including a 27-point performance against Sacramento State.

🔼 Back In The Lineup. Baylor women’s basketball’s Taliah Scott earned her third Big 12 Starting Five honor after averaging 21 points and recording her first career double-double last week. She ranks in the top 25 nationally in seven statistical categories.

No. 13 Baylor hosts Alabama State today at 11 a.m. for Future Bears Day.
