You may have heard of our guest for a special Inside Baylor Sports edition, former BU star MaCio Teague.

📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Poll Position. Last season was an appetizer for the BU softball program.
The Bears, who have piled up 72 wins over the past two seasons, returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2017 last spring and with only losing one senior to graduation, the Green & Gold are locked and loaded for 2024.
Last year, BU went 40-18, which included six top-5 victories against a loaded Big 12 schedule and this year will be no different.
Baylor has been ranked in every preseason poll, including the latest this week when ESPN/USA Softball slotted the Bears at #19 entering this spring.
🔺 Master Of The Circle. One of the leaders of that BU softball squad can be found in the circle with veteran hurler, Dariana Orme.
After an All-Region performance last year, Orme is back for more and has earned high praise as this week, she was named to the Top 50 Watch List for the 2024 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year.
USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, enters its 23rd season presenting the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award, recognizing outstanding athletic achievement by Division I female collegiate softball players across the country.
🔺 Back In The Lab. “What’s done in the dark will shine in the light”
The BU football squad returned to full bore workouts this week in Waco as the Bears returned to campus ready and motivated for the upcoming 2024 season.
Offseason workouts will lead into spring practice and culminate in the annual Green & Gold game slated for April 20th at McLane Stadium.

🎙 NEW SIC ‘EM POD: SARAH ANDREWS
Every great team needs a leader, and that’s what Sarah Andrews is for Baylor Women’s Basketball. And she’s one of the best in the country, evidenced by this week’s newest honor for the veteran guard.
From the time she was just 4-years-old, to being a top high school recruit in the country, Sarah Andrews has never been afraid of the competition on the court.
Now, in her senior season, Sarah couldn’t be more focused on the task at hand. Sarah Andrews is a winner, a leader, one of the most dangerous scorers in the country, and is the engine that makes Baylor Women’s Basketball go.
🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA
