🔼 Fans First. Baylor Athletics Director Doug McNamee writes a letter to Baylor fans emphasizing the importance of fans in creating memorable experiences at Baylor sporting events. The upcoming 2026 football season will bring changes to enhance the fan experience, including revitalized tailgating and increased fan involvement, which will be announced in the coming days. McNamee thanks everyone for their support and appreciates your shared dedication to Baylor Athletics.

🔼  Grand Ol’ Time. Baylor baseball’s Tyce Armstrong was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week after hitting three grand slams in a single game, tying the program record for home runs in a game and setting a new program record for RBIs. Armstrong’s 14 RBIs are the most in college baseball after Opening Weekend.

Baylor baseball will host Texas State tonight at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Back In The Lineup. Baylor men’s basketball freshman Tounde Yessoufou was named to the Big 12 Starting Five after averaging 26.5 points in games against BYU and Louisville. He scored a career-high 37 points against BYU, the most by a Baylor player against a ranked team.

The Bears play at Kansas State tonight at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.

🔼 New Addition. Baylor men’s golf has named Richie Coughlan, a former Clemson All-American and PGA Tour player, assistant coach. Coughlan, who brings extensive experience in both playing and coaching, joins interim head coach Ryan Murphy.
