🔼 Senior Salutin’. No better way to salute the seniors than sending them off with a W.
The 15th-ranked Baylor women’s hoops squad used a dominant second quarter to pull away from Arizona, 74-60, on Saturday night at Foster Pavilion, improving to 23-6 overall and 12-4 in conference play.
Taliah Scott led the way with a game-high 22 points, while dishing out four assists. Marcayla Johnson chipped in 12 points and Darianna Littlepage-Buggs scored 10 points for her 20th double-figure scoring game of the season.
🔼 Put A Fork In ’Em. A highlight reel dunk by Cameron Carr put the exclamation point on a thrilling comeback win for the Baylor men’s hoops team as defeated visiting Arizona State, 73-68, on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears limited the Sun Devils to just 28 points in the second half and outscored Arizona State by 13 in the final 20 minutes.
The second-half comeback was led by Obi Agbim, who hit three clutch buckets from deep in the final minutes and put up 13 of his 16 total points in the second half. Overall, four Bears earned double-digits on the day, including Tounde Yessoufou with 16 points. Isaac Williams IV carried BU in the first half with 12 of his 14 points in the first 20 minutes and led the team with five assists. Cameron Carr ended with 13 points for another night in double-figures for the Bear.
🔼 Home Sweet Home. The Ferrell Center crowd saw yet another dominant performance from the top-ranked Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team in their home debut in 2026.
The Bears (3-0) topped the Crusaders (1-1) by 30.44 points for their home opener, highlighted by two perfect 10's. Entering the meet, Baylor already held an 18.30-point advantage in start value.
🔼 Ridin’ High. The Baylor equestrian squad enjoyed the comforts of home as the Bears rallied to upset #7 TCU, 11-8, on Saturday afternoon in Waco.
Baylor earned event wins in Flat and Horsemanship to defeat the Horned Frogs. Senior Lauren Jorgensen earned both Most Outstanding Performer honors in Fences and Flat, while junior Carley Rutledge earned the nod in Horsemanship.
