🔼 A Big Bite Out Of The Little Apple. Knowing that their fate was in their own hands, the Baylor women’s hoops team responded with a major statement on Monday night in front of a national TV audience.
Facing a Kansas State team that was 17-0 at home this season, the Bears jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, rolling to a dominant 79-62 victory over the 14th-ranked Wildcats.
Baylor fed Aaronette Vonleh early and often as the Colorado transfer owned down low, posting her third double-double of the year with a season-high 24 points, a career-high tying 12 rebounds and three blocked shots.
While Vonleh held down the inside, Sarah Andrews and crew lit it up from outside as the veteran knocked down four 3-pointers en route to 12 points, while fellow guards Yaya Felder and Aliyah Matharu both chipped in 15 points apiece. Point guard Jada Walker narrowly missed a double-double herself, finishing with eight points and 11 assists.
Baylor's ninth-consecutive victory sets up a showdown for the conference championship with 10th-ranked TCU (26-3, 14-2) at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the regular-season finale at Foster Pavilion.

🔼 Measuring Up. This week, the eyes of the NFL turn to Indianapolis.
One of the most covered events of the year in the NFL, the 2025 Draft Combine.
Steve Linton, a defensive standout from this past fall for the Bears, will be among those in attendance who are elevated with every possible measurement system ahead of April’s NFL Draft.
Linton played in nine games for Baylor in 2024, seeing time at outside linebacker and defensive end. He racked up 25 tackles, including seven TFLs and three sacks.
