Happy Hump Day Baylor Fam. Through the first few weeks of the collegiate baseball season, one thing is clear, the Baylor baseball squad is on a mission.
That held true once again on Tuesday night as the Bears did something that’s only been done four times in the past 30 years.

🔼 Seventh Heaven. For just the fourth time in the past 30 years, the Baylor baseball team has won seven or more of its first eight games.
On Tuesday, the Bears rolled to their seventh victory of the season, using a four-run sixth inning to propel them past visiting Stephen F. Austin, 9-4, in midweek action.
The outfield trio of Enzo Apodaca, Wesley Jordan and Ty Johnson combined for five hits and six RBIs, while fifth-year senior designated hitter Hunter Simmons, fifth-year senior infielder Will Pendergrass and senior infielder Tyriq Kemp each also drove in runs.
Freshman left-handed pitcher Carson Bailey was impressive on the bump, striking out seven batters and walking none in five innings.
🔼 The Hall Call. There’s no doubt about it, Baylor men’s golf coach Mike McGraw is a legend.
That statement became even more true on Tuesday when he was named among five new members of the Oklahoma Golf Hall of Fame in the Class of 2025.
The Ponca City, Okla., native helped shape generations of golfers in the Sooner State, spending nearly 50 years giving back to the game at the junior and amateur levels. The son of a long-time Ponca City Country Club professional, Gervis McGraw, Mike joins his sister Patty, a 2006 inductee.
In addition to his 20 tournament wins at Baylor, McGraw has helped six different Bears to 11 all-American seasons, including the program's only three-time All-American in Johnny Keefer. He has guided the Bears to six NCAA championships, including the highest finish in program history, a tie for fifth at the 2017 NCAA Championship.
