🎥 BAYLOR+: ROAD TRIPPIN’

🔼 The Wright Stuff. Sometimes the future arrives a little earlier than expected.
For the Baylor men’s hoops program, the future is now as the Bears took home their second straight Big 12 Newcomer of the Week accolade, this time it was Robert Wright III who earned the honor.
The Wilmington, Del., native joined VJ Edgecombe, who picked up the award last week and Norchad Omier, who was the Big 12's Player of the Week back in November.
Wright has played well beyond his years, averaging 23 points per game in two contests when his team needed him most. As Baylor continues to battle through injuries, Wright put the team on his back, giving the Bears a chance to win both games last week.

🔼 View From The Top. The view’s so nice, they might stay awhile.
That’s right, the legendary Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team is back for another season and will start it right where they left off, being named the preseason favorite by the NCATA for the 10th consecutive season.
Heading into Felecia Mulkey's 11th season at the helm of the Bears' program, BU is on the hunt for its 10th-straight NCATA title.
The NCATA's preseason poll reflected that quest, BU earning 42 first-place votes from the association's coaches. It's the 10th-straight time Baylor's been picked first in the preseason poll.

🔼 Nine Is Fine. The trip back from the Little Apple was a little heavier for the Baylor track & field squad.
A busy weekend for the Bears wrapped up on Sunday with Baylor bringing home nine medals overall, four gold, four silver and one third place finish.

🔼 On The Move. The addresses keep on changing.
After BU legend Britney Griner signed with the Atlanta Dream last week, two more former Bear standouts are headed to new homes as well.
Kalani Brown inked a free agent deal with the Phoenix Mercury, while Nalyssa Smith joined the Dallas Wings and will reunite with former Baylor teammate DiJonai Carrington.
🎥 BAYLOR+: SIC ‘EM POD
There’s no place like home.
For former National Champion and nine-time Big 12 title winner, Aaliyah Miller,
that home is in Waco as the former Bear is now back with BU in
a little bit of a different capacity.
Earlier this month, head coach Michael Ford announced the addition of Miller to his coaching staff for the 2025 season. This week, she sat down as a guest of the Sic ‘Em Pod to talk about her career and her new role with the Bears.
