Coming off being named the Big 12 Rider of the Month, it’s obvious that Madi Mitchell is skilled on the horse, but her story goes far beyond just riding.

📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Sweet Sweepin’. The weather has shown signs of heating up, but the Baylor baseball team appears to be ahead of Mother Nature.
The Bears moved to 12-3 on the season and have now won four straight after yet another weekend sweep, this time done at Baylor Ballpark, taking all three showdowns with visiting Loyola Marymount.
BU picked up victories of 9-4, 6-3 and a sweep clinching win of 9-1 to head into Big 12 play with momentum on its side.
🔼 Feeling 100. If there’s only one word to describe head coach Felecia Mulkey’s time at Baylor, it’d be dominant.
So there’s no better way for her to capture her 100th Baylor victory than in dominant fashion and that’s exactly what her top-ranked BU acrobatics & tumbling did on Saturday, rolling past Missouri State on the road, 278.580 to 205.055.
🔼 Two-For-One Special. It’s always nice to enjoy a winning weekend.
For the ninth-ranked Baylor equestrian squad, they got to enjoy that feeling twice.
The Bears headed north and stretched their win streak to three with two decisive victories, taking down South Dakota State, 14-5, followed by an 11-3 decision over Minnesota-Crookston.
🏀 TOURNEY TIME
When one tournament ends, another one begins.
With the women’s side wrapped up, the Big 12 men’s squads are heading to Kansas City to take on their Big 12 Championship week, which kicks off tomorrow with first round action.
Baylor earned the seventh seed in this year’s event and will face the winner of 10th-seeded Kansas State and 15th-seeded Arizona State. That tip time will be 6 pm on Wednesday evening.
🤔 SIC ’EM TRIVIA
Baylor racked up nine strikeouts in Sunday’s win over LMU, marking the fourth straight game the Bear hurlers have reached that number of punchouts.
In the 15 games this season, how many times has BU pitchers struck out 9+ batters in a game?
